Wool Programme

Middlemore Foundation loves receiving all knitting and wool. Right now the greatest need is for full-term baby beanies.

EVERY winter many South Auckland babies and children are admitted to Kidz First Children's Hospital with respiratory illnesses.

Cold and overcrowded housing can transform a mild cold into a serious illness that requires hospital care.

People who are talented with knitting needles or a crochet hook can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable tiny tots.

Beanies, booties and woolly jumpers in machine washable wool are perfect. Even balls of wool are greatly appreciated.

For more information contact the Wool Programme volunteer co-ordinator, Diane McEntee on Monday or Wednesday mornings.
