Support our
patients and their families

Your support today improves the health and wellbeing of our awesome community now, and for generations to come

With your support we raise funds for projects that sit outside the scope of government funding. Projects that create better healing spaces, develop our workforce, transform patient care and strengthen upstream community health outcomes.

Our Approach

We are on a mission to improve health and wellbeing in our hospital and community. Here's how:

We support our Hospital

There is no doubt that the incredible team at Middlemore Hospital deal with some of the most complex health challenges in New Zealand. We support their commitment and compassion in meeting these challenges, and work alongside them and our donors to get the resources required to get the job done.

We support our community

Since 2000 the Hospital and the Foundation have worked together to transform how healthcare is delivered to the community, shifting from a purely treatment-based approach to working collaboratively with our community partners to take a holistic approach to health and well-being

We distribute
in-demand resources

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Foundation is able to quickly distribute in-demand resources to our patients and community. These resources fall outside government remit and are all made, given and received with love.

Use of the double vowel in te reo Maaori at Counties Manukau Health

CM Health services are located and delivered within the boundary of the Waikato-Tainui Iwi; it is

important that the organisation adheres to the language differences of this Iwi area.

This is why you will see certain words in the directory written with a double vowel instead of a macron such as

whaanau instead of whānau (family), Taamaki instead of Tāmaki (Auckland), ngaa instead of ngā (all).
