Fundraising ideas

In Celebration
If you're having a birthday, wedding, anniversary or other special event, ask for donations instead of gifts

At a school

Engaging your students with a fundraiser is a great learning experience for them. Have a bake sale, playground games or a special dress up day for a gold coin donation

Host an event
Quiz and movie nights are a great social event to get friends and colleagues together while supporting Middlemore Foundation. Sell tickets and increase your amount raised with a raffle or auction.

Here are some fun ways our supporters have fundraised;

Clevedon School's PJ day

Clevedon School had lots of fun supporting Jammies for June with a 'Wear your jammies to school day" for students and teachers.  It was an awesome way to raise money for the Foundation as well as collect winter warm up items to donate to our patients and community.

Lisa's Haangi and Steam Pudding Sale

Lisa sold haangi and steam pudding lunches to fundraise for the Foundation.

"I've seen the amazing work the Middlemore Foundation does to support the community and promote health and well-being," says Lisa.

"Health workers often donate or give their time to support the community, so I wanted them to receive something in return that they could enjoy with their whaanau and friends. It's great to give to a cause that I know truly makes a difference."

8-year-old Harbin's books

Harbin wanted to raise money to support sick people, so he wrote and illustrated two books to sell and donated the proceeds to Middlemore Foundation!
